Introduction:
This article has been sitting in my drafts for a few days. Life as a founder with a main job is exciting, but sometimes I need to shift focus to my day-to-day responsibilities before I can complete stories like this one. But I’m thrilled to finally share the journey behind the product I chose to create—and it wasn’t a paddle.
The Story:
When I first started playing pickleball, I invested in a quality paddle. There were so many options that finding one wasn’t hard. What caught my attention, though, was my friend Rob’s post-game routine. After each match, he’d bring over a cooler and bag for drinks, both hands completely full. One evening, I casually asked him, “Why not just get a bag with a built-in cooler?”
His response? “If you can find me one, I’ll get it.”
It turns out there was no such thing on the market. Right then, I realized I had a chance to create a product that didn’t yet exist—something practical and unique. I wanted to build a bag that solved a problem players had both on and off the court.
Building a Solution, Not Just a Product:
I didn’t want to order something off-the-shelf from China and put my brand on it. Instead, I dove into designing a bag that was as functional as it was stylish, with a cooler as its main feature. After multiple iterations, we finally landed on a design I was proud of. Now, every time I pick up that bag, I know it’s exactly what I and so many others were looking for.
A Purpose-Driven Choice:
The reason I chose a bag over a paddle was simple—it solved a real problem. Since launching, the positive feedback from players who appreciate its convenience and style has only reinforced that I made the right decision.
Conclusion:
For anyone who values ease, organization, and a bit of post-game fun, this bag is for you. It’s a solution designed by a player, for players.
